Pecan Pie M&M Blondies

These gorgeous, buttery blondies are generously stuffed with creamy white chocolate chips, crunchy pecans, and the star ingredient: “Pecan Pie M&M’s”. This creates a dangerously delicious and truly seductive combination that is absolutely worth making!

Ingredients

  

  • cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup pecans
  • 1 cup Pecan Pie M&Ms or English Toffee M&M’s or any flavor that complements butter pecan blondies!
  • cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×9 inch baking pan for thicker blondies or a 13×9 inch pan for thinner blondies by greasing it thoroughly.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set this dry mixture aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter with both the dark brown sugar and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, which usually takes about 3 minutes of mixing.
  • Add the room temperature eggs and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture. Mix until everything is smoothly incorporated and well combined.
  • Gradually add the reserved dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix, as this can lead to tough blondies.
  • Gently fold in ¼ cup of the pecans, ½ cup of the Pecan Pie M&Ms, and ⅓ cup of the white chocolate chips into the blondie batter.
  • Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan, ensuring it reaches all corners.
  • Sprinkle the remaining pecans and Pecan Pie M&Ms over the top of the blondie dough. Gently press them into the surface to ensure they adhere.
  • Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes if using a 9×13 inch pan, or 30-35 minutes for a 9×9 inch pan. Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
  • The blondies are done when they turn a beautiful dark caramel color. A toothpick inserted into the center of the pan should come out almost clean, with a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Once removed from the oven, immediately sprinkle the remainder of the white chocolate chips onto the hot blondies. The residual heat will melt them slightly, creating a glossy, irresistible topping.
